Nollywood actress Ashabi has responded to her baby daddy, singer Portable, following his recent comments about providing financial support for their children.
The actress addressed the issue in a social media post, claiming that Portable told her to take their children to another woman to care for because he was unable to send child support.
Ashabi, however, appeared to reject the suggestion and maintained that she would eventually ensure that Portable takes responsibility for their children.
In her post, the actress also suggested that she was not yet prepared to take certain steps against the singer, adding that when she was ready, he would have no choice but to fulfil his responsibilities.
She further questioned why she would resort to using charms against someone she described as already being “finished.”
Ashabi wrote:
“Him: bring the kids another woman to take care of them; here I no fit send any child support.”
She went on to describe Portable as an “online strong man” while insisting that his claim that he would not be responsible for the children would not stand.
Ashabi also said she had maintained respect for Portable's family, explaining that this was why she had chosen to communicate with him directly.
She concluded her post with a rhetorical question about using “juju” on the singer, writing:
“Make I use juju on finished man meh?”
The latest exchange adds another chapter to the ongoing public disagreement between Ashabi and Portable over child support and parental responsibilities.
