Nollywood actress and filmmaker Wumi Toriola has upgraded her production equipment, describing the development as part of a new phase in her filmmaking journey.
The actress shared a video on social media showing the moment her newly acquired production equipment was delivered. The development comes days after she raised concerns over an issue involving her YouTube page.
Reflecting on the recent experience, Toriola said some seasons in life are designed to make people retreat, but she chose to see hers as an opportunity to improve and invest more in her craft.
According to the actress, the pressure she experienced ultimately motivated her to take action and upgrade her production setup.
“Some seasons are designed to make you retreat. I took mine as a signal to upgrade,” she wrote.
Toriola further highlighted what she described as a new era for her production company, listing new equipment, bigger investment, sharper vision and stronger hunger as the key features of the new phase.
She also made it clear that she was not interested in explaining or complaining about her challenges, choosing instead to focus on building, producing and improving her work.
“I’m not explaining. I’m not complaining, I’m just building, producing and upgrading,” she stated.
The actress concluded by reaffirming her commitment to Wumi Toriola Productions, saying she would continue creating, investing and moving forward as she enters what she described as a new era in her career.
