Former Senator Buruji Kashamu Dies Of COVID-19.

Senator Buruji Kashamu is dead. Kaskamu passed away today 8 August after a fight with the novel Coronavirus. He was age 62.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, his former colleague, revealed his passing on Twitter this evening.

''I have just lost my good friend of forever to #COVID19. Until his death, Sen. Buruji Kashamu and I were inseparable. He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos. May his gentle soul rest in peace. I pray his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear this heavy loss.'' Murray-Bruce tweeted.

Senator Buruji represented Ogun East in the 8th National Assembly.
