The Mother Of Girl With Blue Eyes Finally Speaks Out On How Husband Abandoned Her And Daughters Because Of Their Eye Colour.


Recall the woman whose husband abandoned her because of the color of her eyes has eventually speaks out. It was publicized by a student from Osun State University who traveled to Ilorin, Kwara State to celebrate Eid El Kabir.

The lady named Alabi Fausat disclosed how she had an encounter with the girl and her mum, who had natural blue eyes and were dumped by their dad. This was viral on social media, and the mother of the blue-eyed girls, Risikat Azeez-Ayegbami, who also has blue eyes, sheds more light on the story of how it all happened.


Risikat, the mother-of-two from Kwara State, told Punch that she was raised with naturally blue eyes. She explained that because it was unusual, her parents took her to the General Hospital, where a number of tests had been conducted, and that her eyes were fine.

She said as she grew older, people who saw her eyes commented and advised her parent to take her for medical check up to look if she is okay. Her primary school teachers also told her parent to take her to the hospital, she said her parent took her to the hospital and the doctors said she is fine that there is nothing wrong with her that they are just naturally blue like that of a Caucasian.


She said “I can see clearly and there’s nothing wrong with my eyes,” and the doctor also gave her a lot of gift because of the love he has for her eyes. One of her relative also said General Hospital used to invite her and they would compensate her just for seeing the colour of her eyes.

She explained how she got married and gave birth to three children who inherited the colour of her eyes, she said her husband, Abdulwasiu Omo Dada had problem with the colour and dumped them. She said he loves her eyes before but after giving birth to her first child, he started changing his attitude and it became worse after she gave birth to her last daughter.


She said;
“When I had the first baby, it became difficult to have a conversation with him. Till I left with the children, we didn’t have a conversation.
“Whenever I attempt to have a conversation with him, he would get angry and walk out on me.”
She also said that when she was still pregnant of her second daughter, life was so hard for them that they could not afford money for food and hospital bills. It was her family who took care of their feeding and hospital bills.
Her husband behavior got worse after she gave birth to her second daughter and his parent also changed to them because of the eyes of the children.


“Even his parents were asking him if he was going to keep having children with blue eyes.”
She said that her husband use to leave home anyhow and won't check back on his family. mostly he's going to be gone for a whole week, and he's not going to drop any money for his family.


She said she started eating at her parents house after the child was named, she said that her parents asked her to divorce her husband.

She said her husband hasn't showed up asking after her or their children since she left the house.

The relative added that the General Hospital used to "compensate" Risikat for honouring their visit. Risikat grew older and got married. She gave birth to three girls and all of them inherited her eye colour, she said. However, she explained that her husband, Abdulwasiu Omo Dada had a problem with it and abandoned them as a result.
