Saheed Balogun, a Nollywood star, has come out to talk about supporting r*pe and the release of his embattled colleague Baba Ijesha, who was recently arrested on charges of molesting a minor.
Remember how Gistlovers, an Instagram blogger, said that Saheed Balogun is one of the Nollywood stars working on the release of Baba Ijesha?
The blogger revealed that Saheed Balogun is being prosecuted, but that a large sum of money was paid for Baba Ijesha's release.
The actor denies the allegations in a video posted to his Instagram page in response to the news making the rounds on social media, saying he has never spoken to Baba Ijesha or the investigators since the incident.
He went on to say that he opposes child abuse and brutality, and that claims that he facilitated Baba Ijesha's release were an attempt to smear his reputation.
Saidi says he has stayed silent on the case in order to allow the law to play out.
