"Every Lies Has Expiry Date" Actor Yomi Fabiyi Reacts As Court Rejects Baba Ijesha Bail Application.

In the ongoing prosecution of his alleged sexual assault scandal, Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has reacted after a Lagos state magistrate court granted embattled Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James Omiyinka, commonly known as Baba Ijesha, bail.

Baba Ijesha was arrested and held by the Lagos state police after he was accused of sexually abusing a child aged 7 to 14.

He was released on May 17 after spending almost 25 days in police custody, but he remains in police custody despite the bail.

On Wednesday, June 16, during the trial, his lawyer, Kayode Olabiran, pleaded with the court to release his client, citing his poor health. He claimed that the case's controversies made it impossible to secure his release despite his bond because potential sureties were afraid of the consequences.

However, the judge, P. E Nwaka, ruled that the court could not grant the actor bail because the case was beyond of its jurisdiction. The complaint has already been filed with the supreme court, according to the judge.

Yomi said that anyone who wants to know what persecution from the unknown means can ask him, and that every falsehood has a shelf life.

Yomi Fabiyi, laughing at the situation, stated that the game is still on, but that all will be handled.

"When you need the definition of persecution from the unknown, ask me. But trust me, every lies expiry date. I can’t stop laughing here. Game On! This can never be any artist power jare. But it will be resolved, trust me." he wrote.
