I WAS ON THE VERGE OF DIEING AFTER ACTING IN 'KOTO ORUN.'…I Was Flogged Wictches Tried To Initiate Me – Yoruba Actress Iya Gbonkan Finally Open Up

Margaret Bandele Olayinka, aka as Iya Gbonkan, a popular Yoruba actress, has disclosed that she almost died after starring in the film "Koto Orun."

In an interview with "Japagogo TV," the actor revealed this. Iya Gbonkan rose to fame following her controversial performance as a feared witch in late Yekini Ajileye's notorious film (Koto Orun).

Iya Gbonkan also mentioned how the witches almost pressured her to join their group.

she explained...

"We were all faced with different difficulties after shooting Yekini Ajileye's Koto Orun. About 5 days after the production, I was sleeping and some people started flogging me in my dream. I was savagely flogged. They asked as to how I learned about witches' behavior. Luckily, my spouse was still alive at the time. I would have died if it hadn't been for him. They invited me to join their witch group three days after the shooting. They attempted to persuade her to join the coven,"
