Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Agbo Produces 4 Babies After 5 Children They Had Before Now

 

In addition to their five children, a couple who utilized contraception to avoid having more has welcomed quadruplets.

Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Agbo, who live in Sabon-Tasha, Gwagwa, an Abuja suburb, received quadruplets in a private clinic in Kubwa, Abuja, on Thursday, May 26.

Mr. Agbo, who is from Ado LGA in Benue State, said he and his wife, Mercy, chose to stop having children after they were blessed with five.

His wife was subsequently put on contraception and began family planning.

Mr. Agbo stated that his wife had had implant contraceptive surgery at the local health center where they resided. They also took medications from a drugstore to enhance their diet.

Despite their best attempts, the wife became pregnant and gave birth to four children at the same time.

“But despite all these, she conceived and was confirmed to be carrying four babies after a scan,”

 the husband told DailyTrust.

He continued: 

“We then visited the Kubwa General Hospital where she had a second scan and the same thing was confirmed; even with the expected date of delivery next month

But we had to rush back last Thursday as she started observing signs of delivery. She gave birth to the four babies without any operation.'

 Commenting, the chief medical consultant of the hospital, Dr Onogwu Joseph, said:

“I am not aware of the said use of contraception by the mother of the quadruplets. But I presume that if it had been properly used it should not have led to that.”
