"MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT I WAS STILLBORN SO THEY HAD TO THROW ME AWAY" TOYIN ABRAHAM

The actress narrates how she hears voices from the holy spirit and talks more about the spirituality

From the interview, Toyin Abraham revealed to Vanessa Obioha that her parents abandoned her at birth because she was stillborn, and it took the assistance of a Clergyman to resurrect her.

She said:

"I'm a deeply spiritual person. One of my issues was that I didn't listen to myself. I'd hear and see the Lord's voice in my dreams, but I'd still want to follow my flesh.

"But ever since I started following the lead of the Holy Spirit, things have drastically changed for me and I'm extremely happy about it. I'm a dada, or someone who was born with dreadlocks."

"I've been spiritual since birth. My parents informed me that I was stillborn and that they had to discard me. Then an Ibadan clergyman came to the hospital and inquired about me, and I was brought back to life. I was told that until the day of my naming ceremony, I never cried or did anything.

"I started crying as a baby the moment they named me Oluwatoyin. When they wanted to shave my hair, they had to tell me it was the Holy Spirit because I didn't want them to.

"I decided to have a small circle because there was too much noise in my head. There is always noise around me, both good and bad. I'm not a cautious person. My heart is completely free. You can put your trust in me with anything. You are free to do whatever you want in my presence."
