Nigerian Shocked By Inec Request To Mc Oluomo Team For Sharing Of Election Materials

 The news of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) working with the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, headed by Musiliu (MC Oluomo) Akinsanya, a Lagos APC member, to distribute election materials has sparked reactions from celebrities and Nigerians online. Olusegun Agbaje, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Lagos State, made the announcement during the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) meeting held at the INEC office in Lagos on Tuesday.

Agbaje explained that INEC was forced to work with the park management system as there was a ban on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), and the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) was unable to meet 40% of INEC's vehicle requirements. He emphasized that INEC was working with the park managers, not MC Oluomo, who is a known supporter of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
