Actress Foluke Daramola-Salako slams Nigerian youths for viciously attacking elders on social media

Foluke Daramola-Salako, a prominent Nollywood actress, has recently expressed her dismay over the increasing trend of Nigerian youths insulting their elders on social media platforms. In a video that she posted online, she passionately spoke about the erosion of Nigeria's value system, citing the rampant "unruly behavior" of young Nigerians online as a pandemic that requires immediate attention. She believes that people are not taking the issue seriously enough, and if left unchecked, it could lead to dire consequences.

Foluke warned that if the youths' bad behavior on social media is allowed to slide, it could lead to more severe problems in the future. She noted that in the next five years, Nigerian youths could start beating up their parents, indicating the severity of the issue. She also pointed out the insults hurled at elders during the recently concluded Nigerian elections, indicating that it was unacceptable for young people to insult their elders.

The actress revealed that she nearly retaliated against a young lady who had insulted her on social media, but after much pleading, she decided to let it go. However, she warned that she would make an example of any young person who insults her in the future.

Foluke's passionate call for Nigerian youths to show more respect towards their elders reflects the ongoing struggle to maintain the country's cultural values in a rapidly changing world.
