On March 29, 2023, Kambilichukwu Edochie, the 16-year-old son of Yul Edochie, a popular Nigerian actor, tragically passed away. According to reports, Kambilichukwu was playing football with his friends when he suddenly suffered a seizure. He was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the sad news, with SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesperson, releasing a statement on March 31, 2023. In the statement, he revealed that Yul Edochie reported the death of his son to the command, and the case would be forwarded to the State Criminal Investigation Department for investigation.
