"I Can’t Wait To Go Home" President Buhari Eager To Retire To Hometown As He Celebrates Final Sallah In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his desire to retire to his hometown in Daura, Katsina state, following his final Sallah celebration at the Aso Presidential Villa. During the celebration, the president expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve Nigeria in various capacities and thanked the residents of Abuja for tolerating him over the past seven and a half years. He stated that he cannot wait to return home to his people and quietly retire to his hometown.

Buhari also recently returned to Abuja after an eight-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he performed Umrah, a religious pilgrimage for Muslims. The visit was part of his efforts to strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

The president has been facing a lot of criticism for the security situation in the country, especially the increase in banditry and kidnapping. Despite this, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve Nigeria and assured the citizens that he would continue to do his best to ensure that the country progresses.
