Nollywood actress Bukola Arugba has taken to Instagram to express her frustration over her father's criticism of her physical appearance despite being in her 40s. In a recent FaceTime call, Bukola's father expressed his displeasure with her long nails, which he believed could detract from her identity as a member of the Awoyemi family.
Bukola expressed her surprise at her father's criticism, noting that she is of age and capable of making decisions for herself. She went on to lament how African parents can be controlling and still scold their adult children, even when they are living independently.
