"Arrest me, Jail me, or Kill me," Iyabo Ojo's Fiery Confrontation with Governor Jide Sanwo Olu

Actress and businesswoman Iyabo Ojo has criticized Governor Sanwo Olu and the entire Lagos state government for the exorbitant tax bill she received. In a recent Instagram post, Ojo shared photos of the bill and expressed her frustration with the continuous imposition of high personal income taxes. She pointed out that she already pays various taxes for her businesses and properties, yet the government still demands additional substantial amounts, giving her only a week to pay. Ojo mentioned a previous instance where she visited the government office to explain her income but received no response. She questioned the government's basis for calculating such outrageous bills and emphasized that she cannot pay what she does not have. Additionally, she criticized the government for not providing any substantial support or assistance to her or her children, despite her independent efforts to raise them and overcome challenges. Ojo expressed her resilience in working tirelessly to survive in the country without government support, while the government continues to impose burdensome bills. She defiantly stated that she is unafraid of potential consequences, including the closure of her business or even harm to herself, as everyone will eventually face mortality.
