The latest celebrity feud involves singer and songwriter Davido and music producer Samklef. The dispute centers on allegations that Davido owes money to several individuals.
It all started when Davido cryptically addressed accusations of unpaid debts on Twitter, suggesting that he would soon respond to the rumors. Samklef was among those who responded, humorously referring to Davido as "owe owe 1" and advising him to follow Wizkid's example of maintaining silence in certain situations.
Samklef also recommended that Davido attend a lecture on the "48 Laws of Power" and hinted at Davido's international experiences but "outside US mentality." He even compared Davido's Twitter behavior to that of Yung Duu, a former signee of Portable, suggesting that Davido should answer the question of whether he owes money or not.
In the midst of this, Blessing CEO accused Davido of owing money to a business card dealer named IVD, which IVD initially denied. Blessing Okoro provided audio evidence where IVD allegedly confirmed that Davido owed over 4 million Naira.
Additionally, Davido commented on a viral video featuring a TikToker involved in a cocaine drug trafficking scandal, humorously comparing the TikToker's shocked expression to someone receiving poor exam results.
