Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has instructed his signee, Yung Duu, to return the Honda car he gifted him, claiming that the musician is a source of "bad luck." This decision came to light following the release of a WhatsApp chat between Portable and Yung Duu.
The controversy began when Portable was captured on video yelling and physically confronting Yung Duu on September 5th, 2023. This confrontation was sparked by Yung Duu's decision to accept a concert performance for just N70,000, despite Portable recently purchasing a Honda car for him valued at N3 million.
In the leaked WhatsApp exchange, Portable demanded that Yung Duu return the car to Zeh Nation, stating that the record label owns the vehicle. The conversation escalated with Portable expressing his anger towards Yung Duu.
Yung Duu responded by explaining that there was an issue with the Honda's glass, leading to Portable's frustration. Additionally, Portable accused Yung Duu of ingratitude and hypocrisy, mentioning Yung Duu's failure to deliver a Mercedes-Benz car he had purchased for another signee, Abuga.
Furthermore, Portable revealed that he had lost his car on the same day he gifted the Honda to Yung Duu and expressed his belief that Yung Duu needed prayers.
