Born into privilege, Temi Otedola disclosed that her mother, at the age of 15, suddenly stopped providing pocket money for the summer, urging her and her siblings to seek employment if they needed money. Temi took up a job at a retail store, working in three different outlets during the summer. She described her duties, including folding clothes, fetching items from the stock room, and standing on the shop floor for 12 hours.
By the end of the summer, Temi proudly earned $1200, a significant accomplishment for her. In the interview, she emphasized the value of the experience and the lesson it taught her about earning her own money.
Despite her privileged background, Temi expressed a sense of pride in her hard-earned money.
