In recent news, Nollywood actor and comedian, Babatunde Bernard, popularly known as Baba Tee, has accused his former best friend and colleague, Seyi Law, of intellectual theft. Baba Tee made these allegations during an interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, where he claimed that Seyi Law used his joke at AY Makun's concert without his permission.
According to Baba Tee, his colleague Omo Jesus alerted him to Seyi Law's actions, and he later confirmed the theft when he witnessed Seyi Law using the same joke in his presence. He expressed his disappointment, stating, "He used my material to do an Open Mic at his concert. I said ‘Na my joke?’ Until he rendered my joke where I was for my presence."
The accusations have gained traction, with several individuals expressing their belief in Baba Tee's claims and questioning Seyi Law's trustworthiness. One individual named Santorini remarked, "Seyi Law can never beat the allegations." Another person, Verified Homie, stated, "We all know that guy Seyi Law is a big fraud," while Am Chuks Boy commented, "He never see anything."
These allegations have sparked discussions about intellectual property rights and trust within the entertainment industry. Seyi Law is yet to respond to the accusations.
