"I have been avoiding my DM for days now, cos every time I open it, it messes up my mental health," Oluwasina wrote, shedding light on the toll that the distressing messages take on her well-being. She expressed dismay at the fact that people from all walks of life, including the poor, the moderately well-off, and even the affluent, are now seeking financial assistance.
Reflecting on the grim reality, Oluwasina noted, "Nothing is working. A month salary can’t even feed you for a week, let alone the whole family." She emphasized the severity of the situation, asserting that inflation in Nigeria surpasses that of other nations.
Oluwasina's frustration and disbelief were palpable as she questioned, "Seeing posts of people dying of hunger. How? Why? What the f**** is going on??????!!!!!" Despite the gravity of the circumstances, she remarked on the unsettling silence prevailing throughout the country.
