Renowned actor Olaiya Igwe has reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, stating that he does not regret campaigning for him and would do it again if given the chance.
In a recent interview, Igwe addressed the backlash he received for his unconventional prayer method—a naked beach prayer for Tinubu's electoral success. Despite facing criticism and issuing an apology earlier this year, Igwe emphasized that his actions were driven by his belief in Tinubu's capabilities and the desire for a better future for Nigeria.
"Some people claim my apologizing for going to the beach meant that I regret campaigning for Tinubu. I do not regret campaigning for Tinubu. If I have another opportunity to do things that I can to make Tinubu win the election again so that this country will become better, I will do it. I do not regret it at all," Igwe stated.
