Legal developments unfold as the Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu takes action regarding the paternity dispute surrounding the late singer Mohbad's son, Liam. In a significant move, the court has directed that Omowunmi, Mohbad's widow, be officially served notice of an impending DNA test application concerning Liam's parentage.
This decision comes after attempts by the court's sheriff to deliver the legal documents to Omowunmi failed on two occasions. The court, therefore, deemed it necessary to resort to alternative means to ensure she is made aware of the pending legal proceedings. As per the court's directive, the notice will be posted at Omowunmi's last known address.
The latest development was confirmed through a statement signed by Monoplane Odumosu, a member of the legal team representing the Aloba family, which was obtained by PUNCH.
As the legal process moves forward, the case has been adjourned to a later date, signaling that further steps are expected to be taken in due course.
