“People Tackle Me When I Try To Back Them Up” 2face’s Daughter, Isabella Speaks Out Against The Portrayal Of Parents On Netflix Show

Isabella Idibia, the daughter of legendary singer 2face and actress Annie Idibia, has expressed her discontent over her parents' portrayal on Netflix's reality series "Young, Famous and African."

In a recent Q&A video posted on her YouTube channel, Isabella candidly addressed her concerns about the inaccurate depiction of her parents on the show. She revealed feeling disheartened when trying to defend them, only to face dismissal because of her youth.

Isabella remarked, "I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed in Young, Famous and African. They were portrayed so wrong. Whenever I try to back them up, people would be like that’s not what happened. You guys aren’t in my family, your knowledge is based on what you see on social media."

She further noted the disparity between the public's perception, shaped by social media, and the reality of her family life. Isabella acknowledged the challenge of changing people's perspectives but emphasized the importance of recognizing the truth beyond media narratives.

"People on social media will always think whatever they want to think, but honestly, they would never know the actual true story. They weren’t given the best image and it wasn’t accurate," Isabella added, shedding light on the discrepancies between reality and media portrayal.
