Renowned Nigerian singer Burna Boy has opened up about why he hasn't become a biological father yet.
In a video, the acclaimed artist explained that he feels unprepared to take on the responsibilities of fatherhood at this point in his life. Burna Boy stressed his desire to provide his future children with more love and attention than he received from his own parents.
Addressing rumors about his ability to father a child, Burna Boy emphasized that he is capable but chooses to wait until he can fully commit to being there for his children every single day and minute.
In his own words: "I don’t wanna have kids yet. Have you seen my operation bro? Have you seen my mum the way she loves me? Have you seen my dad the way he loves me? I know I can’t give that to no one right now with the life I live. You feel me so.. when I am settled and I feel I can be there for my children every single day and every minute I’m not having no kids. I feel like my kids deserve better than I got. Let’s say I couldn’t have kids, there’s like IVF that I can do to have. So that rumor is not true."
