Lagos cleric Sam Adeyemi speaks about how repeated bad dreams forced him and his wife to relocate to the US

Sam Adeyemi, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre in Lagos, shared the reasons behind his relocation to the United States with his wife, Nike. In a virtual interview with Seun Okinbaloye on the ‘Mic On’ podcast, Adeyemi disclosed that repeated troubling dreams, combined with the COVID-19 pandemic and the EndSARS protests, prompted their move.

He recounted a series of unsettling dreams his wife and he experienced, involving violence and danger in Nigeria. These dreams led them to reconsider their plans to return to Nigeria. Adeyemi shared his conviction that these dreams were messages from God, prompting them to pray fervently and seek guidance.

Adeyemi further explained how discussions with family members in Nigeria and a meeting with church leaders confirmed their decision to stay in the U.S. The church leaders supported their choice, acknowledging Adeyemi's integrity and commitment to following divine direction.

As a result, Adeyemi and his wife extended their stay in the U.S., which he described as a challenging decision, particularly considering their responsibilities at Daystar Christian Centre.
