    Lanre Gentry, ex-husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, took to Instagram to wish their son, Juwon, a happy birthday. In his heartfelt message, Gentry emphasized that despite any attempts by Mercy to distance him from Juwon, he will always be his father.

"Happy birthday to my dear son Olajuwon Gentry. No matter how your mother tries to take you away from me, I still remain your father. I'm happy you're growing up to understand that you can always come to me for anything. I cherish you, my son. Long life to you and me as your father," he wrote.

Mercy Aigbe and Lanre Gentry separated in 2017 amid allegations of domestic violence. Both have since remarried.
