“My mother Has Disowned Me Because I Decided To Attend My Late Father’s Burial” Late Actor Suebebe’s First Son Cried Out

Yesterday, Pastor Agbala Gabriel held a fitting burial ceremony for the late actor Dayo Adewumi, popularly known as Sule Suebebe, at his residence in Ibadan, Oyo State. During the ceremony, Adewumi's first son gave a short, emotional speech, thanking attendees, God, and Pastor Gabriel. He shared that he wanted to set an example for his own children by attending, even though his mother had disowned him for it.

GBOAH TV recalls that Baba Suebebe passed away on June 12, 2023. Pastor Gabriel, who had been caring for the veteran actor for several years, announced the actor’s death on Facebook, expressing his sorrow and praying for his soul. He wrote, "IT’S A PITY, BABA SUEBEBE DIED AT THE HOSPITAL THIS MORNING. MAY HIS GENTLE SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE."

A social media user noted that the actor’s family had refused to take his body from the clergyman, further highlighting the strained family dynamics.
