So Sad: Veteran Nollywood Actor ‘sule Suebebe’ Is Dead

The Nollywood community is in mourning following the death of veteran actor Dayo Adewunmi, widely known by his stage name Sule Suebebe. The beloved Yoruba actor passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at an undisclosed hospital in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

The sad news was shared by Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, a well-known cleric based in Ibadan. Pastor Amusan had been caring for the late actor for several months. He announced Suebebe’s death on his Facebook page, writing, "It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace."

Suebebe had been dealing with an undisclosed ailment that led him to Pastor Amusan. Through his humanitarian outreach program on Facebook, Pastor Amusan raised financial support for the ailing actor. In a widely viewed video, Suebebe, who was a prominent figure in the Yoruba-speaking sector of the movie industry, reflected on his past, admitting that he had once led a reckless lifestyle.

The passing of Sule Suebebe marks a significant loss for the Nollywood community and his many fans. His contributions to the industry and his memorable performances will be fondly remembered.
