Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has reportedly invested £2.1 million in acquiring two private jets. The Mirror revealed that the Norwegian football star's rights firm, York Promotions Ltd, disclosed the purchase in its annual accounts.
This development follows Haaland's impressive start to the Premier League season, where he scored four goals in just two appearances. The 24-year-old found the net in the league opener against Chelsea and followed up with a hat-trick in Manchester City's comeback victory against Ipswich Town.
Haaland's latest financial statements also indicate a significant increase in his company's assets, reaching £12 million by December 2023. His cash reserves at the bank stand at nearly £7 million, including £2.5 million in net assets.
In addition to his football achievements, Haaland is reportedly expanding his business ventures, with plans to enter the soft beverages market. Documents filed with the UK's Intellectual Property Office suggest that the striker is considering launching his own line of energy drinks.
