Fast-rising Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, recently took to the streets to distribute food items to the poor. In a video shared on his Instagram page, the controversial artist was seen handing out food items like noodles and spaghetti.
This act of charity came just hours after Portable faced massive backlash on social media for calling endbadgovernance protesters "poor and lazy." He had criticized the protesters, stating that their joblessness led them to demonstrate nationwide and urged them to fight for themselves.
However, Portable's charity efforts did not win over many critics. Here are some reactions from social media:
Unknown Official: "This your eye service no go work if you like go import one container of rice, share am, you’re cancelled."
Famous White FX: "We don cancel Portable."

Despite his efforts to give back to the community, Portable's recent comments have overshadowed his charitable actions, leading to continued criticism and skepticism from the public.
