Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has shattered multiple records in the film industry with the massive success of her debut cinema release, Queen Lateefah. Since its release in September, the movie has grossed an impressive ₦350 million in just two months, placing it among the top 10 highest-grossing Nollywood films of all time.
The movie's achievement surpasses Toyin Abraham's Malaika, which earned ₦302 million, and now competes with Funke Akindele's record-breaking titles such as A Tribe Called Judah, Battle on Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
Celebrating the milestone, Wumi Toriola took to Instagram to express gratitude to her fans and supporters while proudly announcing that Queen Lateefah is now the 7th highest-grossing Nollywood film.
She wrote:
