Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji has expressed his frustration over being misunderstood, as many mistake his silence for weakness.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a video where he aired his grievances, declaring that it was time for him to speak his truth. Damola emphasized that he isn’t someone who seeks clout or thrives on unnecessary publicity, but recent events have compelled him to address misconceptions.
He clarified that his decision to remain silent and let issues slide doesn’t mean he lacks his own truth or awareness of what is happening around him.
In his video, Damola said:
"I am not the type that chases clout, and I don’t have time for unnecessary publicity, but the way things are going at the moment now, I just need to come out and say one or two things because enough is enough. The fact that I don’t talk, I hold on to my peace and let things slide, doesn’t mean that I don’t have my truth or I don’t know what I am doing. Do you understand?"
The actor ended his post with a bold statement:
"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH… it’s time to come out straight and say my TRUTH."
