Michelle Gentry, daughter of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, has taken to Instagram to celebrate her mother’s milestone achievement with her first cinema film, Ada Omo Daddy.
Expressing her excitement, Michelle shared her joy at seeing the overwhelming love and positive reviews the movie has received. She praised her mother for her perseverance and hard work, highlighting the dedication she poured into the project despite facing challenges.

Earlier, Mercy’s husband, Kazim Adeoti, also showered her with praise as the Netflix run of Ada Omo Daddy came to an end. He commended her strength, resilience, and remarkable achievement, noting that the film had an impressive run in cinemas and delivered outstanding results.

This achievement placed the movie as the third highest-grossing Nollywood film, a remarkable feat, especially considering competition from industry heavyweights like Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele.
