Actress Biola Bayo Gives Update on Missing Daughter of Ailing Veteran Actress Jumoke George

Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has given a new update on the case of veteran actress Jumoke George’s missing daughter, Adeola, who has been gone for over four years.

In a recent post shared on Instagram, Biola revealed that Adeola has been located in Mali, although she is yet to speak with her mother. Despite several attempts, Adeola has not been picking up calls, which has left Jumoke and those close to her deeply worried.

Biola stated that CRC, the organization helping to trace Adeola, had successfully made contact with her. According to them, Adeola is alive, healthy, and currently working in Mali in search of a better life. However, she has not reached out to her mother, who is currently in the hospital and urgently wants to speak with her.

“Adeola has been spotted in Mali. Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital and will be happy to speak with her at least,” Biola appealed online.

This update comes days after Biola aired an emotional interview with Jumoke George, where the veteran actress shared heartbreaking details about her struggles. She revealed that she has been homeless for 5 to 6 years, living in a church and being supported by the pastor’s wife. She also spoke of her declining health, revealing she’s been in and out of the hospital since January 2nd and is now in debt. She requires urgent brain and heart tests but doesn’t have the money.

Following the interview, many in the public reacted, with some offering support while others criticized the decision to go public. One critic blasted actress Biodun Okeowo, accusing her of exploiting Jumoke’s condition despite having a wealthy husband in the U.S.

However, Biodun fired back, defending the move to go public, saying it was the fastest way to get urgent help for the veteran. She urged the critic to focus on his own life instead.

Earlier, Jumoke had also shared the pain of family rejection, explaining how her choice to live with her father after her parents’ divorce led her mother to abandon her, and her relationship with her father became strained due to his new wife.

The entertainment community and fans continue to express concern and send prayers for Jumoke George, while many hope Adeola will soon reach out to her mother.
