"If I d!e, you must be the one to bury me," veteran actor Buffalo's mother tells Kunle Afod after losing all her children.

The mother of late Yoruba movie icon Musiliu Ajikanle, fondly known as Buffalo, has made an emotional public appeal to popular actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod, asking him to remain by her side through life’s trials.

In a deeply touching moment captured on video, Mama Buffalo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Kunle Afod, saying:

“I’m entrusting my entire life to you. When I die, I don’t want to be buried unless you’re there—because you’re the only one who has stood by me.”

With tears in her eyes, she showed Kunle old photos of her two late sons—Buffalo and his younger brother—and reflected on the emotional pain of losing both children. She explained how their deaths left her in hardship and loneliness.

Mama Buffalo, now fully devoted to her faith, shared that she had given her life to God, believing it’s the only thing sustaining her. She added:

“If my children were still alive, I wouldn’t be suffering like this.”

Musiliu Ajikanle passed away in 2017 after battling a stroke for several years. His mother revealed that she exhausted all her savings while caring for him, hoping he would recover, but sadly, her efforts ended in sorrow.

Deeply moved, Kunle Afod, who had supported the family in the past, gave her ₦50,000 to help her buy a fridge for her small business. Mama Buffalo explained that she hoped to become self-reliant and stop depending on people, adding that someone once promised to help her but failed to follow through.

Kunle encouraged her, saying:

“Forget about that person. God can still use others to bless you.”

He also revealed that Mama Buffalo is currently battling hearing problems and difficulty walking, expressing sadness over her condition and vowing to continue helping in whatever way he can.

Fans and fellow Nollywood stars have praised Kunle Afod for his ongoing compassion and support for veteran actors and their families.
