Drama Unfolds as Portable Accuses Babymama Ashabi of Trying to Break His Marriage—She Finally Responds

Nollywood actress and babymama of controversial street singer Portable, known as Ashabi, has seemingly responded after he publicly accused her of trying to ruin his marriage.

Earlier, Portable took to social media to call out Ashabi, claiming she was feeding his wife, Bewaji, with negative stories about him in a bid to destroy their home. He also accused her of chasing clout and trying to create drama with his marriage.

“This is why I drag you online. You’re dragging me into my home. You don’t allow my wife to enjoy me. You brought her closer to you and you’re spoiling her mind against me. But my wife still loves me, and it’s making you angry,” he said.

In what seems to be a response, Ashabi broke her silence, saying she avoids drama despite being a filmmaker. She explained that she has kept quiet for long out of self-respect, but can no longer take the constant online attacks.

“Even though I make movies and act in drama, I don’t like drama. I’ve stayed silent for so long, but now I have to speak. Should I remain silent forever? Is it until I die? I don’t like dragging, but I can’t take it anymore.”

This isn’t the first time Portable has accused Ashabi of trying to come between him and his wife. In March, he justified taking only Bewaji on a London trip and slammed Ashabi for being jealous and competitive. In 2023, he even warned her not to speak with his wife behind his back, claiming her involvement always led to arguments in his home.

Despite the repeated clashes, Ashabi has continued to show public support for Portable. Just two months ago in April, she celebrated him after he bought a new Ford F-150, thanking God for his blessings. She also shared a romantic video of herself with the singer after his release from police custody in Kwara State, expressing joy over his freedom.

Though their relationship has been filled with tension and public drama since they went public in 2022, Ashabi has remained vocal about her love for Portable—until now, as she finally pushes back amid rising conflict.
