On Father’s Day, Ayomiku Alabi, daughter of famous gospel singer Tope Alabi, took a moment to celebrate the two most important men in her life — her husband, Oluwole Bantale, and her stepfather, Soji Alabi.
The singer and content creator posted a touching video and photo on Instagram on Sunday, accompanied by a heartfelt caption that read:

Ayomiku, who tied the knot with Oluwole on March 12, 2025, in a private ceremony, melted hearts when her stepfather, Soji Alabi, walked her down the aisle. She later praised him publicly, calling him her true father.

However, the emotional moment also revived a long-standing family controversy. Ayomiku’s biological father, Mayegun Olaoye, resurfaced online, claiming he had been estranged from her for over 20 years. In a 2020 interview, he said he had tried to reconnect but was allegedly blocked.
