Don Jazzy Pledges N20 Million to Support 10,000 Laptop Drive for Nigerian Youths

Music mogul Don Jazzy has pledged N20 million to the Tech Access Project, an initiative aiming to provide 10,000 laptops to young Nigerians passionate about technology, design, music production, and digital entrepreneurship.

The project was launched through an open letter by Ayilola Ayotomiwa, who appealed to Don Jazzy to support the vision of empowering Nigerian youths. Ayotomiwa highlighted the importance of laptops, calling them “not just a gadget, but a lifeline” for building a future in today’s digital world.

“Our vision is simple but powerful: to give young Nigerians the tools they need to learn, create, and earn from their talents,” Ayotomiwa wrote.

Acknowledging the ambitious nature of the project, Don Jazzy praised the initiative but explained he could currently only contribute N20 million along with a repost to raise awareness. He encouraged other well-meaning Nigerians to join and help achieve the full goal of distributing 10,000 laptops.

“Bro I hail o. Your initiative is commendable. But sir, 10,000 laptops is not beans. At this time I can only afford to support with N20 million and a repost. Hopefully, some other well-meaning Nigerians can help achieve the goal,” Don Jazzy stated.

The initiative has since garnered attention online, with many praising both Don Jazzy and the project for supporting youth empowerment in technology and entrepreneurship.
