Nollywood actor Peters Ijagbemi has expressed deep gratitude to God as he and his wife, Folajogun Akinlami, return home with their newborn baby boy.
Just three days ago, the couple joyfully welcomed their first child. Sharing the good news, Peters thanked God for a safe delivery and promised to raise his son in the fear of God. The actor described fatherhood as a new and exciting chapter in his life.
In a recent update, the Yoruba movie star announced that he and his wife have finally left the hospital, writing:
“We are finally home. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.”
Peters Ijagbemi was previously married in 2016 but separated from his ex-wife in 2022. In an earlier interview, he revealed that his marriage ended due to frequent misunderstandings about social media appearances but maintained respect for his ex because she was a good wife and the mother of his children.
This year has seen many Nigerian celebrities share similar joyful news. Actress Mercy Ebosele welcomed twins, comedian Lasisi Elenu and his wife had their second child, while Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo announced the birth of her second baby girl.
