Nollywood actress Adeyemo Adebola, popularly known as Seiilat, is celebrating her 5th wedding anniversary with her husband, Peju Adeyemo, and sharing heartfelt words about their journey together.
In a long and emotional post on her Instagram page, Seiilat described the past five years as feeling like five minutes and a lifetime at the same time. She explained that it feels short because the love has been sweet, and long because her husband has become part of her soul. She thanked him for choosing her every day and for loving her deeply.
Sharing her exact feelings, Seiilat wrote:
“Happy 5th anniversary, my love. Five years with you feels like five minutes and a lifetime at the same time, short because it’s been so sweet, long because you’ve become part of my soul. Thank you for choosing me every day. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I’m grateful for us, for our journey, and for the beautiful years ahead. I love you deeply.”
She went on to describe her husband as her comfort and strength, saying the past five years have taught her the true meaning of partnership, peace, and real love.
“My husband, my comfort, my strength. These five years have taught me what true partnership, true peace, and true love really look like. You’ve held my heart with care, covered my flaws with understanding, and built a home inside my spirit. I’m so proud to walk through life with you.”
Seiilat also revealed that even after five years, her love for him continues to grow stronger.
“Five years of loving you, and my heart still races at the sound of your voice. You are my man, my protector, my calm, and the one who makes me feel safe in this world. I fall for you every day, in new and deeper ways.”
Adding a touch of humour and warmth, the actress noted that their marriage has been filled with everyday conversations and shared moments.
“5 years, 1,825 days of ‘Babe, what are we eating?’, ‘Babe, what’s our next project?’, ‘Babe, what do you want?’ — and endless love.”
While counting down to the anniversary earlier, Seiilat also joked that despite being married for five years, her heart still “does a TikTok dance” whenever her husband walks in.
The couple welcomed their second child in Canada in March, and as a push gift, her husband surprised her with a brand-new car.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, celebrating the actress and wishing the couple many more years of love and happiness.
