Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted calmly after being insulted and body-shamed by an online troll.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share a screenshot of a harsh message sent to her by the troll. In the message, the individual called her insulting names, mocked her body, especially her tummy, and went as far as wishing that nobody would watch her movie. The troll also made threatening and mocking statements about her future.
Despite the hurtful words, Nkechi Blessing chose not to respond with anger. Instead, she reacted with faith and confidence. Using her late mother’s memory, the actress declared that the same troll would soon congratulate her.
She wrote that it was well with her and stated that the real person behind the fake account would soon come forward to praise her openly.
Her response has since drawn attention online, with many fans praising her maturity, strength, and calm handling of the situation. Supporters also encouraged her to remain focused on her career and ignore negative comments from online trolls.
