Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has shared an emotional message as he welcomed the New Year without his close friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola.
The Yoruba actor revealed that for five consecutive years, he and Allwell had always crossed over into the New Year together under the same roof. According to him, they usually prayed, made wishes, and shared special moments with his family, the Thesalamis.
This year, however, Rotimi said the tradition was broken because Allwell is no longer alive. Despite her absence, he noted that she remains present in their thoughts, prayers, memories, and the love they shared.
Sharing his feelings, Rotimi wrote that although the pain is heavy, he has promised himself to stay strong and be fine.
He ended the message by wishing everyone a Happy New Year, while holding on to the memories of his late friend as he begins a new chapter without her.
