Nollywood actors and filmmakers have continued to mourn and celebrate the life of their colleague, Allwell Ademola, following her burial.
Reports show that a Service of Songs and candlelight procession was held in her honour on Thursday, while she was finally laid to rest on Friday. The solemn events drew emotional reactions from colleagues in the movie industry, many of whom took to social media to express their grief and share heartfelt tributes.
Actress Toyosi Adesanya said she is still deeply affected by Allwell’s death. Reflecting on the loss, she urged her colleagues to embrace prayer and live purposefully. She prayed that the industry would not experience such a painful loss again in their prime and asked God to comfort Allwell’s family, fans, and everyone involved in the burial arrangements.
Actor Muyiwa Ademola, who could not attend the burial because he was out of the country, described the situation as heartbreaking. He said her death is a painful reminder that life is short and tomorrow is not guaranteed. According to him, every day lived brings people closer to their final day, and he prayed for long life for everyone left behind.
Folorunsho Adeola also penned an emotional message, calling Allwell a beloved sister. He prayed for her soul to rest in peace and promised she would always be remembered and cherished.
Regina Chukwu expressed deep pain over the loss, lamenting that Allwell did not live to see the completion of a movie they worked on together. She revealed they had plans and conversations that now remain unfinished, describing the loss as shocking and heartbreaking.
Jamiu Azeez, in his tribute, asked Allwell to journey well and prayed that her soul would rest with the angels. He reminded everyone that death is inevitable and encouraged people to live simply and meaningfully, as tomorrow is never promised.
Allwell Ademola’s death has left a deep void in Nollywood, with colleagues and fans alike continuing to mourn a life gone too soon.
