Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni has spoken out to her fans after battling a serious illness that kept her away from work for several days.
In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram page, Omoni revealed that she had been very sick and could not remember the last time she felt that unwell. She explained that although she tried to push through, her health would not allow her to continue at the time.
Reassuring her fans, the actress said she believes the sickness will not defeat her, declaring that “the devil is a liar.” She noted that she was only able to regain some strength recently and did not want to release a movie that was less than her best.
Omoni apologised for the delay and asked for understanding as she suggested moving the movie release to the next day. She also expressed deep appreciation for her fans’ patience, love, and support, assuring them that she would never take their loyalty for granted.
The actress ended her message by reaffirming her love for her supporters and promising to always deliver quality work to them.
