“We Are Going to Sue Her” — Adeleke Family Considers Legal Action Against Kemi Olunloyo Over Davido Paternity Claims

The paternity controversy involving Nigerian singer Davido has taken a new turn, as his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, announced that the family is considering taking legal action against controversial social media personality Kemi Olunloyo.

Speaking at a press briefing on Wednesday, the billionaire businessman strongly criticised what he described as repeated acts of defamation, impersonation, and the spread of false information targeted at his son. He said the issue had moved beyond social media gossip and was now becoming dangerous.

The dispute is centred on claims that Davido fathered a 12-year-old girl, Anuoluwapo. The Adeleke family has consistently denied the allegation, stating that DNA tests have already disproved the claim.

When asked by journalists if the family would take the matter to court, Dr. Adeleke said legal action was now being seriously considered. According to him, the situation had “gotten out of hand.”

He specifically accused Kemi Olunloyo of publishing what she described as a DNA result online, calling the act misleading, defamatory, and harmful. He stressed that such posts could negatively affect both the child involved and the Adeleke family, adding that the family may sue her for spreading false information.

Dr. Adeleke also alleged that Olunloyo had been running social media accounts in the names of the child and her mother to continue attacks against Davido.

In response, Kemi Olunloyo denied the accusations. She stated that she never impersonated the child or managed any related accounts. According to her, all the information she shared was based on claims allegedly made by the child’s mother, Ayo.

Olunloyo further claimed that Ayo told her she had a direct relationship with Davido years ago and insisted she was not involved with multiple men at the same time, as some online users suggested. She also alleged that Davido contacted Ayo using his cousin B-Red’s phone, a detail she said her personal investigation supported.

Maintaining her innocence, Olunloyo denied fabricating any information and accused the Adeleke family of trying to silence her.

The controversy continues to generate widespread reactions online as both sides stand firmly by their claims.
