Nollywood actress Olatoun Olanrewaju has publicly spoken out against Iyan Aladuke, the wife of actor Femi Adebayo, over allegations and issues that have caused tension between them.
In a series of emotional posts shared online, Olatoun explained how her relationship with Iyan Aladuke began and why she decided to finally speak up. According to her, she had known Femi Adebayo long before his marriage, describing him strictly as a mentor, senior colleague, and friend. She strongly denied ever having a sexual or romantic relationship with him.
Olatoun revealed that Iyan Aladuke first contacted her through Instagram direct messages in 2023. She said they became close after discovering they both have autistic children, which made her trust and see Iyan as an older sister figure. She explained that she rarely keeps friends and genuinely believed Iyan meant well.
However, the actress claimed that the relationship later took a different turn. She alleged that Iyan began using her to monitor Femi Adebayo’s movements on movie sets and to gather information about him within the industry. Olatoun said she later realised she was being used under the guise of friendship.
Speaking further, Olatoun accused Iyan Aladuke of causing serious marital issues during the filming of Jagun Jagun 2 in October 2024. She alleged that Iyan behaved badly towards her husband on set, actions she described as “unspeakable,” which she said marked the beginning of the family crisis.
Olatoun stated that Iyan had confided in her about the situation and that she tried to mediate by speaking with Femi Adebayo to restore peace. Despite her efforts, she claimed Iyan refused to calm down and repeatedly vowed to frustrate her husband and deny him peace.
The actress also alleged that Iyan planned to destroy Femi Adebayo’s image by spreading false stories, including claims that he used diabolical means and exploited his children and industry colleagues for fame. She said Iyan even tried to involve her in creating these false narratives, which she firmly rejected.
Olatoun said she only realised the extent of the situation when Femi Adebayo called her, confused about claims that she had taken his wife to a prayer place where he was labelled diabolical. At that moment, she said she knew she was being used because Iyan believed she would remain silent.
In her post, Olatoun expressed deep pain and emotional distress, saying the situation had caused her constant tears and regret for ever getting involved. She challenged Iyan Aladuke to publicly admit her actions instead of blaming others and pushing false stories.
The allegations have sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users calling for calm, truth, and maturity as the matter continues to unfold.
