Nigerian singer Asake has once again captured public attention — this time not with a new song, but with his extravagant jewelry.
According to reports, the music star allegedly spent $1 million (about ₦1.3 billion) on two luxury rings. One of the pieces is said to be a gold-plated Cleopatra-inspired ring, designed with a bold and royal ancient Egyptian look. The second ring reportedly features detailed engravings of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, giving it a powerful and mysterious appearance.
The Cleopatra-themed ring is described as dramatic and impossible to ignore, reflecting a strong royal vibe. The hieroglyphic ring, on the other hand, carries symbolic designs often linked to ancient Egyptian kings and history.
The development comes shortly after the release of Real, his joint EP with Grammy-winning superstar Wizkid. With new music out and luxury pieces shining, Asake appears to be embracing a bold and elevated image.
Fans have since taken to social media to share mixed reactions. While some see it as a strong fashion statement and a sign of success, others question whether the purchase is simply luxury flexing or part of a larger “royalty era” image.
One thing remains clear — Asake continues to make headlines, both in music and in style.
