“I used to respect you” – Bolanle Ninalowo Faces Backlash After Declaring Support for Tinubu, Fans React

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has come under intense criticism on social media after publicly declaring his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The actor announced on his Instagram page that he had been appointed as the Coordinator of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) association in Atlanta, United States. Sharing the news, Ninalowo said he was honoured to serve in the role and showed open support for the president.

“Honoured to serve as Coordinator! Atlanta/USA for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. RTIFN,” he wrote.

However, the announcement did not sit well with many of his fans and followers, who flooded his comment section with harsh reactions. Several critics questioned how he could support the government while allegedly having his children and close family members living abroad.

One user, doccydsongbird, wrote, “Tinubu is fixing Nigeria, meanwhile all your kids are abroad. God will judge you.”

Another follower, withlove.halima, said, “Jokes on you. Tinubu is fixing Nigeria from someone who has his kids and immediate family members outside Nigeria.”

Some commenters challenged him to bring his family back to Nigeria if he truly believes the country is improving. Olajide_ptd wrote, “Please bring back your family to Nigeria since your mandate is fixing Nigeria.”

Addie_stallion questioned the claim of progress, asking, “Really? What progress?”

Others accused the actor of being influenced by money or political benefits. Da_biodad commented, “Money don buy this one too,” while shugarboy_17 added, “I used to respect you a lot, but now I see the type of person you are.”

As the backlash continues, the development has sparked wider conversations online about celebrities, politics, and accountability. As of the time of reporting, Bolanle Ninalowo has not publicly responded to the reactions.
