“It isn’t her fault that she is in such a situation” – Pasuma Speaks on Busola Oke’s Situation

Nigerian Fuji star Pasuma has shared his thoughts about fellow singer Busola Oke and her current situation in the music industry.

In a recent interview, Pasuma explained that success in the music industry is different for everyone. He said sometimes a song can become very popular, but the CDs may not sell as expected. In such cases, the artist often earns money from live shows instead. He added that the sharing formula in Juju music is different from Fuji music, and this can affect how artists make their income.

Speaking about Busola Oke’s popular song “Eleyele,” Pasuma said that the time when that type of music was trending has passed. According to him, music trends have changed, and people have moved on to other styles. He stressed that any artist who was singing years ago and is still active today is surviving by the grace of God because the industry is no longer the same.

Pasuma described Busola as someone close to him and said he felt sad after watching a video of her crying. He explained that he and Busola were both with Bayowa during the time her hit song was released. However, he noted that whatever agreement existed between Bayowa and Busola about sharing profits is a private matter between them and God.

The Fuji maestro further stated that in the music industry, one artist can release a single song and become a millionaire for life, while another may release a hit song and still face pressure to produce more success. He concluded by saying that Busola’s current challenges are not her fault, as the industry and its rewards work differently for different people.
