Amid rumours surrounding her alleged relationship with colleague Odobodobo Motolani, Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has travelled to Mecca to observe Umrah during the final days of Ramadan.
The actress shared the update on her Instagram page, posting a video of herself at the airport as she prepared to leave Nigeria. She revealed that she was heading to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia to perform the Umrah pilgrimage during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
Bakare also invited her fans and followers to send their prayer requests, assuring them that she would pray for them sincerely during her time in the holy cities.
Sharing the news, she wrote:
“Time for Umura, MECCA, MEDINA, SAUDI ARABIA.
FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS OF RAMADAN UMURA PILGRIMAGE.
Feel free to send me your prayer request. I will surely pray for you wholeheartedly insha Allah.

Many of her followers reacted in the comment section, wishing her a safe trip and asking her to remember them in prayers as she performs the spiritual journey.
